About the role:

In this role you will work closely with the Product Owners of Marketing Technologies to understand and document business needs and requirements; taking this information you will then translate the requirements into actionable technological requirements for a variety of teams using mixed project management methodologies (agile and waterfall).

A day in the life:

  • Will operate within the Marketing Technologies teams as a liaison between the business and development teams.
  • Support strategic planning of systems and business processes for production support, feature design, prioritization and defect management.
  • Provide leadership and governance for the defect and production support work stream.
  • Translate business process or concepts into technical requirements (and vice versa).
  • Ability to define functional and non-functional requirements based on the needs of the users.
  • Work with IDEXX integration partners to triage and resolve identified integration issues.
  • Work closely with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user information requirements and seek opportunities to support critical business strategies, improve business processes, and educate the workforce about the strategic use of technology.
  • Define functional and non-functional requirements based on the needs of the users.
  • Review of requirements and feature designs with customers to validate feature improvements and strategy

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree (Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred), advanced degree in technology or business preferred.
  • IIBA Certification or Business Analyst Professional a plus.
  • Experience in business modeling and process engineering preferred.
  • Agile and Software Development Lifecycle knowledge.
  • Business or systems experience within the functional area a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in the health care industry a plus.
  • Strong execution and impact focus - including demonstrated drive, initiative, break through thinking, and business results.
  • Solid financial management and analysis skills.
  • Solid project management skills and abilities.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize across multiple initiatives.
  • Highly effective communication skills (presentations, correspondence, and 1-on-1 at all levels and across global organization).
  • High energy and proactive problem-solving acumen.
  • Integrity, authenticity, respect, sense of humor, and confidentiality.
