Description:

Aerotek's client is seeking an HVAC technician to join their team in Manassas, VA. They need temporary help to catch up on the surge of work that they currently have. This person will partner with the Site Manager and Service Technicians with maintenance on their equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Communicates professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups and service calls.
• Delivers and installs rented HVAC equipment. Trains authorized operator (and/or customer) on safe use of equipment.
• Cleans and tests returned equipment making sure operation and appearance is up to standards.
• Installs flexible gas hose on both propane and natural gas applications.
• Implements proper and safe procedures to check gas connections.
• Works with managers and sales engineers to maintain accurate records and tracking of in-stock and rented equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience maintaining HVAC equipment or electrical/mechanical components
• Hand tools experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• CFC license is a plus
• OSHA 10 Cert is a plus
• Basic electrical experience is preferred
