Job Description

Overview

The Landscaper is responsible for safely performing grounds and lawn maintenance duties as assigned by the Project Manager. Quality service is expected to be provided to customers at all times. Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job as it pertains to this position. Position also may require assistance for custodial or facilities maintenance duties indoors; as needed and/or assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements

Experience requirement:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to understand oral and/or written instructions

  • Ability to interact appropriately with customers and staff members

  • Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).

  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.

Physical Requirements

  • May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place outdoors. Will work with motorized and/or electrical equipment as it relates to grounds & lawn maintenance. Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. Will require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours as well as weekends and holidays depending on the need of the grounds, time of day, and season of the year. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to assist in lifting equipment and moving furniture when necessary and will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 75 pounds.
