PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. Goldman Sachs Private Bank Select ("GS Select") is a market-leading high-tech/high-touch solution that allows third-party financial advisors to quickly and seamlessly offer digital banking products to their end clients. The business currently offers Securities Based Lines of Credit (SBLOCs) through a large network of these independent financial advisors, targeting affluent and High Net Worth clients. We are expanding and enhancing that platform to include a full range of core bank deposit and lending offerings, delivered in an integrated and client-friendly format through wealth management platforms. To help us build this business extension, we are looking for an experienced, digitally-savvy product manager.

GS Select is part of the larger Goldman Sachs Private Bank ("the Bank"), which offers a range of services that allow Goldman Sachs clients to consolidate and simplify the management of their financial assets and liabilities. The Bank provides tailored lending capabilities, including residential mortgages and loans secured by a range of assets, and cash management services, including cash sweeps, term deposits and a range of payment services, that are integrated into a client's investment accounts.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for helping re-invent how banking products are distributed and consumed in the independent advisor space. You will join a team of creative and driven banking professionals to help build digital banking products that are simple and transparent. You are passionate about intuitive and user centric designed product experiences, across both web and mobile platforms. You are comfortable writing specs, managing project execution, performing user testing, and being laser focused on metrics for the features you bring to market.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

The Digital Banking PM will be responsible for the following:

    Collaborate with other business units to identify existing capabilities and align on segment objectives
  • Assist with managing the project roadmap; deliver stated objectives on time, and within scope and budget
  • Test and evaluate results of product changes, and make modifications as needed
  • Develop and deliver reports, proposals, and presentations to senior management
  • Become an expert on digital banking needs, emerging technologies and regulations
  • Ensure compliance of products and the processes that support each product
  • Understand and own the adoption of digital tools created to enhance the client experience
  • Can establish productive relationships with sales teams, regional lenders, and the broader GS Select team
  • Can generate ideas, gather feedback requests, and convey them back to the team
  • Partner with other Product Owners that own features/functionalities that are available on the firm's digital platforms
  • Announce releases, demos the solution to key stakeholders, organizes milestone reviews
  • Represent the needs of the end user within the stakeholder community-always anchoring features and functionalities to the client/advisor perspective and experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of product management experience in a fast-paced, agile product development environment
  • Ability to own and drive product strategy and build a compelling business case
  • Demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability, going above and beyond to ensure that products are delivered on time with a high degree of quality
  • Proficient in major development and project management applications (i.e., Confluence, Jira, etc.)
  • Aptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and processes, documenting workflows and edge cases, and communicating solutions with clarity
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on teamwork
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication / presentation skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of the independent financial advisor market
  • Experience in understanding the financial and borrowing needs of a wide range of clients and as part of a comprehensive wealth management strategy
