Position Highlights The University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine (UA-CVM), located in Oro Valley, Arizona, invites applicants to join its Information Technology Services Team as a Senior Web Developer (Web Developer II). The successful candidates will join a creative, high-performing team that is responsible for all aspects of ongoing software development; from the initial specification, through developing, testing, and launch. They will work on multiple projects, including Drupal sites and an exciting open source Learning Management System (LMS) for veterinary medical students.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Produces detailed technical specifications that define details of either all or specific parts of a design (e.g. signature of an interface, including all data types/structures required, detailed class models including all methods, attributes, dependencies, and associations; specific algorithms that a component employs and how they work; physical data models including attributes and types of each entity/data type).
  • Writes clean, well designed code for web applications.
  • Develops and deploys new features to existing products.
  • Designs and develops new websites.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Three years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in related field.
