The Email Marketing Specialist is an integral member of the marketing automation program within the Mass General Hospital Development Office. They are responsible for all phases of production to support the hospital's direct marketing program, including setting up programs in Marketo, managing landing pages and creating donation forms in WordPress, managing ad campaigns in Facebook Ads and Google AdWords, and completing related production and quality assurance tasks.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, Marketing Technology, the Email Marketing Specialist translates requirements, content and direction from strategy documents into on-time and error-free email and digital marketing/advertising programs. They are also responsible for identifying new customer needs for technologies, templates and tactics, developing and implementing solutions, and facilitating frequent client-facing meetings.
The ideal candidate will have experience with marketing automation, web publishing, email marketing, digital advertising and social media tools, and will possess a high level of creativity, initiative and energy. They will be an exceptional individual contributor and a team player, with a strong sense of professional ethics, and the ability to work effectively in a large, complex, dynamic, and sophisticated organization.
