A Central Sterile Processing Technician works to prepare, sterilize, install, assemble, or clean all laboratory or healthcare equipment required for surgeries, examinations, and medical procedures. The Sterile Processing Technician ensures equipment, instruments, and supplies can be reused safely to prevent infections.

• The culture throughout the entire hospital is team and patient focused.
• Everyone on the team is motivated and leadership is committed to mentoring through career mapping for educational and personal success.

• The Central Sterile Tech manages the provision of sterile supplies and equipment required by the Operating Room, Recovery Room, Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery and patient care departments by cleaning, packaging, sterilizing, and storing.

Qualifications

• Good personal hygiene, physical and mental health.
• Interest in providing safe, sterile equipment for patient care, willingness to accept constructive criticism.
• Good technical skills.
• Previous experience preferred.
