Methode Electronics is seeking a Warehouse Clerk responsible for material handling including receiving, inspecting for damage, stocking, and shipping within a warehouse, shipping, and receiving dock. The hours for this role are 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

We are pleased to provide a sign-on bonus paid in one lump sum payment of $1,000.00 (minus applicable taxes) after completing 90 consecutive calendar days of service. To qualify, you must meet performance and attendance requirements.

Warehouse Clerk Responsibilities:

• Unload carrier trucks

• Maintain First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory system

• Ensure all counts and shipping documents accurately represent material and product being shipped and received before signing

• Sort and place materials in predetermined storage locations in the warehouse or plant

• Pull inventory and prepare shipments for customer pick-up

• Report material shortages to purchasing agent

• Accurately record during physical inventories

• Comply with all safety rules, policies and procedures, maintain neat and orderly work areas

• Other duties as assigned

Warehouse Clerk Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• One year of general work experience

• Must be able to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual

• Must be able to write routine reports and communicate in English

• Ability to learn to operate powered lift trucks and other material movers

• Ability to work independently

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, if not currently employed by Methode Electronics, Inc. (subject to reasonable accommodation for those who cannot receive a COVID vaccination due to a disability, a religious reason, or pregnancy)
