As a BKD Tax Managing Director/Partner you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team in tax, while providing Unmatched Client Service to our clients. If you have experience with managing tax advisory services, tax compliance and tax provision to a diversified client base, this is the position for you!
What You Will Do:
- Provide tax compliance and tax advisory services to individuals, partnerships, S corporations and corporations in a variety of industries
- Help develop, build and manage client relationships
- Assist in managing, developing and coaching professional tax staff
- Review returns prepared by tax associates and seniors
- Effectively delegate responsibilities to others, monitoring efforts of engagement teams
- Successfully research complex tax issues, apply findings to projects and clearly communicate those findings in writing
- Have frequent contact with client personnel at top levels and able to consistently sell additional services to them
- Have a disciplined approach that is reasonably successful in attracting new clients and developing referral sources
A Successful Trusted Advisor has:
- Experience managing multiple client engagements
- Excellent client relationship and time management skills
- Attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture
- Excellent supervisory and time management skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- 9 years or more in public accounting or corporate tax department
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree
- Partnership tax experience
