THE ROLE

The Strategy and Corporate Business Development Principle is a high visibility leadership role and a key trusted advisor to senior management of AMD. This role will lead business strategy and pipeline development projects to drive inorganic and business growth objectives of AMD. You will work with AMD executives on successful business strategies, provide business insights and lead change initiatives.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

• Be a thought partner for AMD's executives on key topics and enable growth opportunities in the 3 to 5 years' time horizon
• Drive the annual long range planning process in partnership with the business units, finance, and CEO's office
• Collaborate with business units to surface and run business unit strategic initiatives
• Run M&A transactions - serve as opportunity leader and key performer across all deal phases from discovery to integration

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Direct experience in corporate strategy at a technology firm and experience in premier management consulting or investment banking
• Work experience in an engineering or technology organization
• Strong semiconductor background is desirable

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

• Undergraduate degree in engineering discipline
• Graduate degree in business or engineering
