Job Description | NorseMedia student employees serve as the producers, directors, camera operators, sound recordists, editors, and other key creative and technical roles for the professional-quality media productions created in NorseMedia. Students are expected to have an established skill set with an area or areas of specialty, but with an understanding and capability to perform most production or post-production roles when creating media. |
Primary Responsibilities | Shoot and edit promotional, commercial, educational, entertainment, and documentary productions. Serve in key above-the-line roles within the NorseMeida structure for on- and off-campus clients. Supervise and direct EMB 102/202 student production assistants. Other media-related duties as required. |
Qualifications | Must be a full time student with a GPA of 2.5 or better. Must have a thorough understanding of Adobe Premiere or Blackmagic Resolve, the EMB program’s field production gear, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work collaboratively and independently. Experience with the Adobe CC suite (especially After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and ProTools audio editing software is preferred.
