Purpose of Position

Northern Kentucky University School of Allied Health in the College of Health and Human Services invites applications for our Radiation Therapy Adjunct Professor general pool of candidates from which part time faculty will be selected for the upcoming terms (as needed).

Primary Responsibilities

Radiation Therapy Adjunct Faculty responsibilities include: teaching Baccalaureate level courses and/or providing internship supervision at affiliate healthcare institutions in accordance with program internship policies. Adjunct faculty members will be expected to (1) use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems; (2) hold regular office hours. All classes may be offered day or evening. Teaching is assigned on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis

Course content areas include clinical courses, treatment planning, imaging modalities, radiation physics, radiation biology, and radiation protection.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: National certification in radiation therapy field of practice, or radiation therapy equivalent. Master’s degree in education, management, or related field. Prefer three years of successful classroom teaching experience and significant professional experience in course content area. Official transcripts showing highest degree will be required at the time of hire.
