Job Description

The purpose of this position is to consent patients to a participate in a longitudinal study examining the value of contingency management interventions in Substance Use Disorder treatment and recovery. This position is supported by a private grant in collaboration with St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Talbert House, and the Center for Addiction Treatment

Primary Responsibilities

The ideal IHI Graduate Research Assistant is a graduate student at NKU enrolled in a research-based program with experience in community-based research and a range of
interviewing techniques. The candidate will need:
• strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
• excellent client service and networking skills;
• the ability to work independently but also keep the site supervisor well informed on challenges as well as progress on the work;
• excellent written and oral communication skills; and
• strong computer skills.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include experience with:
• database management;
• counseling or similar clinical skills;
• familiarity with Cincinnati.
