Job Description

This position will be responsible for providing support to the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer and Title IX Coordinator.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer with projects and research.
• Create and maintain a social media presence for the Office of Inclusive Excellence.
• Responsible for answering the phone, taking messages, and greeting visitors to the Office.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a willingness to take initiative.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of computers to include MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Social media expertise and ability to manage web content.
• Possess effective verbal & communication skills and an ability to collaborate.
• Must be discreet in the handling of confidential information within the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
• Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
• Attention to detail and a professional demeanor are essential as well as the ability to take responsibility for a project and follow it through to completion

Pay Rate $8.00/hour
