Purpose of Position | We are currently searching for a part-time position in the School of Allied Health’s Master of Science in Health Science accelerated online program. The successful candidate will primarily teach internship and capstone courses beginning summer 2020. The program is offered completely online and is designed with a transdisciplinary focus. The program is also an interdisciplinary program designed to provide those involved in health care the opportunity to earn a master’s degree with a focus in management, education, or informatics depending on their career goals. NKU has a strong commitment to transdisciplinary education and has recently opened the Health Innovations Center in the 2018.The center provides the opportunity for the School of Allied Health to play a significant role in academic innovation as well as impact the health of the region. |
Primary Responsibilities | Responsibilities include teaching online courses using CANVAS for students from a variety of disciplines at the graduate level. The position will begins May 11, 2020. |
Qualifications | A master’s degree with five years work experience in health care management is the minimum requirement for this position. A doctoral degree and experience in health care education or action research is preferred. A two-year experience leading internships in online Health Administration or Public Programs is required. Qualifications and credentials that meet the needs of the curriculum for the Master of Health Science Program will be a primary consideration.
