Job Description | The student simulation technician intern collaborates with other members in the College of Health and Human Services in performing duties essential to the achievement of the college goals for simulation. The main purpose of this position is to function as a member of the simulation technician team supporting the educational activities of the simulation center. Strong organizational skills required for time management and to prioritize conflicting demands. Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills. Ability to occasionally lift and use heavy or specialized medical equipment. |
Primary Responsibilities | •In collaboration with the simulation center team, prepares for healthcare simulation activities by setting up patient simulator systems, healthcare equipment, supplies, manikin moulage, audio/video systems, and electronic medical record system. |
Qualifications | Must be an NKU Graduate Student. Strong organizational skills required for time management and to prioritize conflicting demands. Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills. Ability to occasionally lift and use heavy or specialized medical equipment.
