A Patient Care Technician's main role is to provide basic care to patients, as well as assist them with things they might have trouble with on their own, such as bathing. Because of the personal nature of the job, a Patient Care Technician has strong people skills and the ability to be compassionate and enjoy helping others.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the professional nurses by performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary to meet personal and comfort needs and carry out the medical and nursing plan of care for all adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

  • CPR for Healthcare Providers to be completed within 30 days of hire
  • PCT Skills Checklist must be completed within 3 months of hire date
  • Previous CNA experience is preferred
  • Work Schedule: Full-time. Mixed shifts (3 pm-11pm, 7am-3pm & 11pm-7am) with rotating weekends
