Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer

The team at Panametrics, a Baker Hughes business designs and manufactures a range of sensing instrumentation that that are utilized in a vast array of market segments. Our flagship product such as Ultrasonic flowmeter & analyzers help customers across all process industry to handle toughest environment and most difficult applications.

Partner with the best

As a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes. You will utilize knowledge of design for manufacturability, quality control standards to meet day-to-day Sustaining Engineer objectives. As well as shape New Product Introductions into Production.

As Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, building, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing assembly processes, tooling and equipment.
  • Supporting the needs of a Production Cell or Key Process through short-term action and long- term process improvement.
  • Developing and improving manufacturing documentation, assembly procedures and process maps.
  • Collaborating with Design and Operations teams on production process improvements.
  • Utilizing document control and ERP systems to document new processes and changes to existing processes and products.
  • Performing troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis to resolve manufacturing quality defects.
  • Leading the transfer of new products from Design to Production, including floor layouts, equipment requirements, and manufacturing processes.
  • Participating in LEAN initiatives and implement Brilliant Factory concepts and process improvements.
  • Leading and effectively interface across supply chain and design engineering to complete projects that meet EHS, production, quality, and cost goals.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 year of Mechanical Engineering experience.
  • Have demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering and process development.

Desired Characteristics:

  • CAD experience, strongly prefer SolidWork
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
