Job Description
Department: Earth & Utility
Job Status: Full Time/Weather Dependent

Grade/Level: $18-$31/hr. DOE
Amount of Travel Required: None

Work Schedule:
Monday through Saturday. 6:30am to 4:30pm but start times will vary depending on the type of pour from early morning to late evening.

Elite Surface Infrastructure Overview
Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in Englewood Colorado and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI grading crews provide Subgrade Preparation and Aggregate Base Course Placement among other services for Municipalities, Federal, DOT, Developers, General Contractors and Private Commercial.

POSITION SUMMARY
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers.

  • Check fuel supplies at sites to ensure adequate availability.
  • Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
  • Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.
  • Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
  • Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes
  • Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed
