SNAPSHOT: Title: Bilingual Collections Agent (English/Spanish) Industry/Dept: Finance/Credit Location: Chicago, IL 60603 Hours: 9:00 - 5:00pm or 11:30 to 7:00pm, with alternating Saturdays DAY-TO-DAY: Communicating with customers Making high volume outbound calls Keep track of assigned accounts to identify debts Plan course if action to recover payments Negotiate payoff deadlines Investigate and resolve discrepancies Update account status Properly notate accounts Ensure you provide customer satisfaction Must have great attention to detail JOB REQUIREMENTS: HS Diploma or GED Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed Experience using computers Bilingual (English and Spanish) 6 months to 1 year collections experience Excellent listening and phone skills Strong ability to negotiate Ability to multi-task and resolve conflict COMPENSATION: Pay Range/Details: $15 to 18 per hour depending on experience The benefits of working with Salem Staffing - In addition to your regular earnings, The Salem Group is proud to offer a benefits package that is second to none.
