Job/Internship Description

The Maritime / Aero Segment Analyst intern is responsible for supporting SES Network's Miramar Segment Solutions teams to develop technical and business proposals for future innovation products and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development of the Maritime and Aero segment solutions
  • Assist with the marketing functions of the Maritime and Aero segments
  • Assist with the design, specifications, budgeting and execution of various projects
  • Conduct analytical, operational, or performance studies in order to develop products for the Maritime and Aero segments
  • Analyze data in order to determine feasibility of product proposals.
  • Confer with internal personnel in order to clarify or resolve problems, and to develop or modify products
  • Prepare product layouts and associated drawings and schematics.
  • Maintain records of engineering department activities, including expense records and details of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong desire to learn with a professional drive
  • Read and analyze technical and complex documents and plans
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer-based design programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work in office setting which includes walking, bending and wearing appropriate safety gear
  • Current enrollment in a related BS or Master's degree
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 - please include unofficial transcript with application

Preferred Skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of project management and Agile Project methods
  • Maritime and Aero experience
