Reviews manufacturing requirements, methods, time schedules, and costs for a job. Determines what tools/fixtures are necessary to manufacture and assemble products. Utilizes computer software to record recommendations for production guidelines. Makes recommendations to improve tool application and related costs. Handles special projects.
As a Machining Process Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Reviewing manufacturing requirements, methods, time schedules, costs for a job.
* Determining what tools/fixtures are necessary to manufacture and assemble products.
* Utilizing computer software to record recommendations for production guidelines.
* Making recommendations to improve tool application and related costs. Responsible for training machine operators in the shop.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have High School Diploma or equivalent
* Have 5+ year of machine shop experience, a portion of which in a lead or journeyman capacity.
* Have proficiency in machining process and practices. Expert product knowledge and manufacturing techniques.
* Have experience with g-code and m-code programming languages.
