Alion Science and Technology is looking for a Research Intern to support Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Autonomy and Navigation Technology Development (ANT) Center. The research intern will work closely with the ANT Center's prototype engineers and lab technician to support several research projects throughout the internship.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to experimental data collections, filtering frameworks and hardware/software integration for navigation solutions, GUI development for GPS jamming scenarios, test and evaluation of cooperative unmanned ground systems and multi-rotor indoor UAS platforms, source code verification and document development, and UAV process automation in the ANT Lab's Vicon motion capture flight chamber. The initial appointment is for Winter 2021; however, the internship may be extended if mutually agreeable and based on available funding.
Required Programming Languages: Must have experience in one or more of the following:
