Job Description

Description

Decypher is seeking Software Engineer candidates to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) at West Bethesda, MD. This position provides support for software applications and scripts. As necessary, will migrate the functionality of

existing in-house developed software applications to other platforms, languages, or software architectures. US Citizenship and active TOP SECRET clearance required.

Required Certification

One of the following DoD IAT II or IASAE I 8570.01 baseline certifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate-Security (CCNA-Security)
  • CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
  • GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
  • GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
  • CompTIA Security+ CE
  • EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND)
  • (ISC) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
  • (ISC) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • (ISC) Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)

AND

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows Server Certificate or equivalent intermediate level certification.

Required Experience

Four years of experience in all of the following areas:

  • Software design using object-oriented methodologies;
  • .NET, C++, Java, and/or Perl;
  • Development of Web applications;
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MariaDB, and Ajax; and
  • Database design with experience in Oracle 11g as well as ITSM tools.

Required Clearance

  • US Citizenship and active TOP SECRET clearance required.
