JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Technician

LOCATION NAME: Sevierville, TN

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for the production of engine valves through machine operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate production equipment in accordance with process control plan and job safety analysis in order to meet safety, quality, customer requirements, and production requirements.
Achieve operating goals of work cell/area in all aspects of the manufacturing process, such as safety, quality throughput and cost.
Rotate job assignments as required. Learn all operations in department through successful acquisition of skill-based training program consistent with scheduled time frame for such progression.
Actively participate in and attend meetings with team, kaizen, etc.
Read and comprehend written and numeric information, process drawings, gauges, SPC, etc., and understand total concept as it affects immediate and future outcomes.
Perform basic trouble shooting, maintenance, and repairs to equipment.
Adhere to all safety, quality and environmental requirements.
Perform other job-related duties as required.

Required Skills

High school diploma or G.E.D. required OR
Mechanical and/or electronics training OR
Technical/trade school
1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
