Job Description

SURVEYOR III/SENIOR SURVEYOR

Our Survey team is seeking a SURVEYOR III/SENIOR SURVEYOR to join our Puget Sound region or Intermountain and be based out of our Bremerton, Puyallup, Seattle or Spokane Washington location. This position will have the opportunity to travel and provide survey support across regions.

WHO YOU ARE:


Professional: LSIT or soon to be licensed PLS with applicable experience level looking for a position which combines office and field work and collaborates with our professional surveyors. Your project experience includes roadway and interchange improvements, boundary work, subsurface utility networks, construction layout, and topographic and feature mapping. UAV/scanning experience desired.


Experienced: You will have a solid understanding of work flow for checking and processing field notes, CAD drafting skills; specifically, you have proficiency with planimetrics and surfaces, construction calculations, and the ability to independently draft a variety of mapping deliverables. You are familiar with horizontal and vertical datums, have knowledge researching sources for control monumentation and property records, and experience evaluating construction plans for site and building improvements. Understanding AutoCAD/Civil 3D is highly desirable and MicroStation experience is a plus. You will be able to make sound, independent analysis of boundary work in the field and office. In the field you can work independently with a solid understanding of control networks, topographic surveys, construction staking, level loops, monument recovery, and as-built surveys. You will be organized with the ability to understand scopes, plan daily field work, take field notes and complete projects within budget. Trimble equipment and both office and field software experience is a plus.

The successful candidate must be team oriented, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
