The Simulation Engineering College Co-op will be involved in updating the CCH & 4WD plant models to improve fidelity and reduce execution time.
- Investigating methods of plant modeling to reduce plant simulation time and improve fidelity
- In support of moving to a virtual test environment for Driveline Electronics Software and systems
- This enhanced fidelity will be need to support the development of the next level of autonomous vehicle development
- Set models up so they may be included with other component models to create a complete Virtual tractor model capable of driving
- Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree area
- Must be able to work part-time throughout the school year (15-20 hours a week) and full time during the summer ( 40 hours a week)
- Must live within a commutable distance (within 50 miles)
- No relocation will be required
Preferred Qualifications
- Matlab/Simulink knowledge
- In depth knowledge of transmission electro hydraulic control systems and autonomous vehicles preferred
