Job Title: Local 602 Steamfitter

Job Summary: EMCOR Services Combustioneer has a need for an experienced Steamfitter with knowledge of installing various types of commercial HVAC systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and understand blue prints and specification in order to install HVAC equipment and piping systems
• Independently plan, layout and install various types of piping systems
• Perform material take off from drawings or existing building conditions
• Preform replacement and new installation of commercial HVAC systems/equipment
• Work safely using proper PPE and have the ability to identify hazardous conditions and report to them to supervisor
• Assemble or secure pipes, fittings, accessories (valves, gauges, etc.), or related equipment according to project specifications by welding, brazing, soldering, propress, victaulic or threading joints.
• Overtime or varied shift work hours may at times be required
• Any other tasks that are assigned

Qualifications:

• Member of Steamfitters Local 602 Union
• At least 5 years of experience in the HVAC field
• Able to pass background checks to work on government or secure sites
• Active Top Secret/Secret Clearance is a plus
• Ability to use power tools to perform job responsibilities
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs
