Position Description

ATI is looking for an Intern to work part-time (20 hours a week) to support our some of our programs in Summerville, SC.

Ideal candidate is local to the Charleston, SC area.
Must meet the definition of a United States Person upon hire.
Must be either a United States Citizen by birth or naturalization, or a green card lawful United States Permanent Resident, or a Political Asylum in the United States.



Job Description
Provides departmental assistance with daily operational activities.

Essential Functions
Work with Applications Development Manager and senior staff as needed.
Assist with writing code.
Some experience / knowledge of coding web-based production software using Java, JavaScript, SQL, PHP, HTML, XML and CSS.
Utilization of IDEs such as Netbeans or Eclipse is preferred.
Write utilities and reports as needed and directed by senior staff.
Help with quality assurance and testing of web applications currently in development.
Help create automated test scripts.
Help create, build, and deploy scripts.
Must be flexible and adaptable.


Additional Responsibilities

Works with management and staff as needed.

Qualifications

Current college student with a major in Computer Science (minimally rising junior or higher) or graduate student with a major in Computer Science (any level if the undergraduate degree was computer science or a 2nd year graduate student if the undergraduate degree was something other than Computer Science).
Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated teamwork skills, including communication and adherence to deadlines.
Ability to prepare reports and documents using word processing, spreadsheet, access database and presentation software tools.
Individual must be organized and punctual.
Able to function effectively under pressure
Trustworthy; trusted by clients and partners
