Typicaldutiesinclude but are not limited to:

• Diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatuses and components.

• Operate, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems and adhere to NEC and NFPA70standards.

• Provide electrical power to buildings on a 24/7basisto include on-call and emergency calls.

• Provide services for electrical systems to interiorlighting, circuits/circuit breakers, panel boxes, grounding systems, paging/communicationsystems,communication antennas, arrestors and protection systems, wiring and cables, motors, controls, UPS systems, generators, MTS/ATS and bus duct.

• Plan and layout repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals and schematic diagrams.

• Operate and repair electrical transformers, Network Protectors, Main and Emergency Switchboards, to include the breakers, ties and mains with responsibility to end at the point of termination for the load side wiring.

Qualifications:

• Five (5) years of experience as an Electriciandesired,three (3) of which related to Industrial Facilities.

• Journeyman Electrician's License or State of Maryland Master Electrician License preferred.

• Must be able to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Physical Demands:

• Position duties require working outside in the weather. Conditions may include rain, cold and/or heat.

• Position may require working in high places,such as scaffolding, ladders, man baskets, and/or cherry pickers.

Requirements:

• A Valid Master Electrician's license from the District of Columbia.

• AValidState Driver's license is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance company.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances as background checks will be conducted for this position.

This position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Contract anticipated to begin in Fall 2020.
