Quality Tool is a precision manufacturer is looking for a 1st shift experienced CNC Machinist Programmer to program, set-up Haas, Makino, and Citizen machines. Other duties to include fixture design and estimating responsibilities. Quality Tool Inc. is a growing machining/fabricator of metal components for Fortune 500 companies in the medical, industrial, electronics and defense industries.
Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust and operate Hass machine tools determining speeds & feeds with the ability to align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments & accessories
- Sequence automatic machine operations and define setup requirements, select cutting tools, and program proper feeds and speeds to successfully machine parts.
- Identify optimal manufacturing processes based on part configuration and batch size
- Inspect work, making necessary notations on work routers.
- The nature of the work is a mix of small to medium quantity runs with frequent set-ups.
- Four + years minimum CNC Machining Set-up and Programming experience.
- Create CNC programs using GibbCAM and/or DP Esprit software
- Design required fixtures
- Engineer the process for CNC machining
- Proficient in editing programs and adjusting offsets
- Experience inspecting your own parts using various dimensional tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, Gages
- Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment, programing, setting up and operating CNC equipment.

- Good attendance and punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed
- Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a drug test
