Bluehawk is seeking a Mid-Level Aerospace Engineer to provide support to the DIA/ST/SCS Space Intelligence Data Division to provide foundational and operational support to the Deparment of Defense (DOD) and intelligence community (IC) customers located in Reston, VA.
- Conduct research and develop white papers/studies for future ST MASINT technical collection capabilities and gaps
- Perform R&D tasking, processing, exploitation and dissemination of collected MASINT R&D sensors data to support internal and external customers, Combatant Commands (CCMDs) and other mission partners.
-Supports defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific/engineering research, capability/limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis/characterizations, facility and vulnerability assessments on foreign aerospace capabilities. Analysis, assessments and products include, but are not limted to current and future foreign aerospace technology and systems sucha as aircraft, spacecraft, unmanned aerial vehicles and aground control systems to understand capabilities, vulnerabilities.
-Minimum of 3 years experience conducting aerospace analysis with at least a portion of the experience being in the last 2 years.
-Aerospace Engineer shall have demonstrated proficiency conducting statistics and using statistical packages such as, but not limited to, Matlab, SPSS, SAS, PLUS, or R.
Desired Experience:
-At least 5-8 years of experience conducting aerospace analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
-Bachelor's degree in Aerospace from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Aerospace Engineer shall possess and maintain a TS/SCI with CI Poly (or ability to obtain a CI Poly)
