Overview

Bluehawk, LLC is currently seeking a Senior Level Asymmetric Threats Ops and Research Analyst (ORSA) to support forward deployed warfighters with C-IED operations focusing on counter improvised threats and the networks that finance, build or employ such threats.

Responsibilities

Duties include

    Taking data and distilling the information into a cohesive analytical product for the senior military audience through integration of diverse intelligence disciplines, including SIGINT, MASINT, GEOINT, IMINT, and HUMINT.
  • Providing the subject matter expertise that is highly skilled at data mining, statistical analysis, causal, and geospatial analysis.
  • Analyze unit operations through Operations Research techniques to produce trend assessments and analysis of C-IED analytical products to provide information to the government regarding the effectiveness of the client initiatives. 
  • Support C-IED/Counter-Improvised Threat efforts in a theater of operations, developing pattern analysis methods formulation of recommendations to operational commanders.
  • Facilitate data transfer from theater to CONUS in order to support units in mission training events, readiness exercises, and pre-deployment rehearsals. 
  • May require deployment to hostile fire areas for up to 6 months at a time as well as occasional short duration CONUS travel 
Qualifications

  Must have:  

  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics) with 8+ years of experience conducting Operations Research, OR 3+ years of experience with a Master’s Degree 
  • Must be medically deployable and willing to deploy in hostile fire areas 
  • Strong background, education, and experience in mathematics and statistics 
  • The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to senior military and government agencies
  • Experience conducting operations analysis in support of DoD, CCMDs or Services as military, government and/or contractor support    

Preferred:

  • Experience with SAS, Python, ArcGIS, and Palantir  
  • Relevant deployment experience in a combat theater supporting  C-IED  
  • Experience with Counter-small Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-sUAV)
