The Office Engineer II provides technical & administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction; trouble-shoots engineering related installation problems.

Requirements:

Responsible for:

  1. Planning and executing project completion and punch list.
  2. Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
  3. Preparing invoices.
  4. Submitting O&M manuals.
  5. Assisting in development of full estimate.
  6. Participate in KPR (Key Project Review).
  7. Managing coordination & detailing logs & schedule.
  8. Managing schedule updates.
  9. Managing productivity reports.
  10. Identifying value added solutions & cost savings methods.

Degree:

  1. 2-4 years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program)
  2. 0-2 years of experience with a MS

Abilities:

1. Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.

2. Sitting for extended periods of time.

3. Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.

4. Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.

5. Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

6. Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.

7. Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

8. Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

9. Identify and understand the speech of another person.
