We are well-established leader in Concrete Construction industry and are searching for a Regional Recruiter to hire craft co-workers. The position is based in the Washington, DC area

Job Duties:
  • Assist Operations in defining and identifying recruitment needs and strategy.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of high school and military recruiting programs.

  • Serve as liaison for recruits during hiring process.

  • Support company compliance efforts

  • Registers for career events and tracks pertinent information (career fairs visited, people interviewed and hired)

  • Ensures that PowerPoint presentations are updated and applicable to event

  • Ensures that there are enough supplies for various career events

  • Coordinates interviews for qualified candidates

  • Maintains a repository of resumes to be pulled from the Applicant Tracker as needed

  • Assists Regional Talent Manager on Baker-sponsored recruiting events

  • Monitors social media outlets for available candidates

  • Screens resumes received through applicant tracker

  • Conducts screening interviews

  • Maintains relationships with future prospects

  • Gives input to Regional Talent Manager regarding qualified candidates

  • Maintains school/instructor relationships at events, classroom presentations and career fairs

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in all aspects of craft recruiting

  • Assist with company Carpenter Apprentice Program recruiting process.

  • Visits job sites weekly to maintain good coworkers' relations.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience, or (4) years prior experience in recruitment, preferably in construction.
  • Excellent active listening and critical thinking skills.
  • Outgoing, engaging personality and ability to put people at ease.
  • Ability to network and build relationships with industry professionals.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Passion for sourcing and recruiting.
  • Strong work ethic and high personal drive.
  • Ability to travel for recruiting purposes.
  • Successful candidate will be subject to E-Verification process
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
