Job Description

ARServices, Limited is seeking a Procurement Technician for a government customer requiring

Contracts, Grants, and Acquisition support, in Arlington, VA. Specific tasks and duties include:

  • Prepare, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to duties
  • Compile workload reports, generate work-in-process (WIP) reports and running reports; assist in tracking old contracts or unassigned actions in the WIP report; update work assignments within financial and contracting workload management systems
  • Receive, print and distribute copies of Procurement Requests/Change Requests (PRs/CRs) and receive, track and/or print proposals and supporting documentation
  • Interface with Business Financial Managers (BFMs), Program Analyst/Officers, and Support Contractors to check status on actions
  • Interface with Finance Office on Obligation/Commitment issues
  • Track down copies of awards for Program Officers, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and others
  • Respond to both supervisory and non-supervisory contracting officer and contract specialist requests
  • Prepare electronic contract and grant file folders, and procurement assistance documents
  • Respond to No Funds Extension (NFE) requests and coordinate approval and modifications as necessary
  • Draft purchase/delivery orders and modifications
  • Prepare and upload congressionally required Contract Action Reports (CARs) to the Federal Procurement Data system - Next Generation (FPDS-NG)
  • Staff file room when necessary
  • Conduct special projects
  • Schedule and organize meetings

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, business related preferred
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
