Under the direction of the Director, Student Wholeness, the Education Specialist II provides expertise to support the design and implementation of strategic initiatives, programs, and activities related to student wholeness, integrating social and emotional learning (SEL), restorative practices (RP), and other wholeness-oriented approaches, such as trauma-informed practice. This work is grounded in and defined by a commitment to promoting equity of opportunity and outcomes for students across the district. The Education Specialist II will serve as a champion for the work of the wholeness office, both by speaking and writing with knowledge and passion about the work and by modeling a personal commitment to the core SEL competencies and restorative approaches.
