Comprehensive understanding of DoD/DHA IT Security and IA policies, directives, and publications; and shall maintain awareness of relevant cyber-related policy issues.
Comprehensive understanding of federal security regulatory requirements and security frameworks, including RMF, NIST SP 800-series, FISMA, FIPS, FedRAMP, etc.
Creates, manages, and maintains setup documentation and security policies for compliance and accreditation purposes for all programs, including SOPs, policies, procedures, plans, and more.
Prepares, standardizes, edits, and finalizes documentation, incorporating information provided by system administrators, specialists, analysts, engineers and operations personnel.
Creates, updates, and maintains templates, guidelines, checklists, presentations, and training guides in alignment with the RMF guidelines for the organization’s cybersecurity needs.
Reviews and comments on materials related to technical documentation and reports, cybersecurity policies and procedures, and planning materials.
Writes, edits, and develops graphical presentations of technical information for both technical and non-technical personnel.
Organizes and completes writing assignment material according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Maintains records and files of work and revisions regarding IT operational policies and procedures.
Develops and formalizes robust quality assurance review processes of all existing and new programs, and shall conduct quality assurance reviews of programs as directed.
Creates informational exhibits such as document data flows, Ports, Protocols and Services (PPS) documentation, system architecture, and other necessary diagrams/charts.
