    We have a great opportunity for you to join Affiliated Engineers in an Electrical / Lighting Internship role in our Pasadena office, Summer 2020.

    Responsibilities

    Here is what we have in store for you:

    In this role, you will work with lighting professionals to gain hands-on learning experience. You will provide overall technical support to the lighting design team. You will assist with performing lighting andenergy calculations as well as assist with the lighting design team by helping to edit design specifications, respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and write meeting notes. Your role will include documenting lighting plans in AutoCAD and Revit as well as assemble cut sheet packages using InDesign.

    Qualifications

    What you will need to Succeed:

    • Enrollment in an Engineering, Architecture, Interior or Theatre Design program (minimum GPA of 2.5).
    • Working knowledge with Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, and Revit.
    • Completion of three years of coursework or have a junior standing.
    • Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations.
