Customer Quality – Support the organization with ensuring customer product or service issues are addressed urgently, accurately and with a disciplined process. The Sr. QE will be responsible for facilitating root cause/corrective action processes, risk assessments, RMA requests, and risk preventive action plans where required. The Sr. QE facilitates Customer Impact Assessment meetings and Advisory/Recall Notification activities as required.
Supplier Quality Support – The Sr. QE assists with ensuring that Angelus suppliers are providing products and services that meet our quality standards. Supplier quality activities include; supplier approvals, supplier process reviews, supplier scorecards (quality portion), and supplier corrective/preventive actions.
Operations Quality Support – The Sr. QE may assist with ensuring that manufacturing and other related processes are capable of meeting product and service requirements. Operations quality activities include: manufacturing process reviews, approval, contributing to the adherence of operations’ metrics (quality portion) and corrective/preventive actions.
QMS Support – The Sr. QE may lead the internal audit program and provide assurance that internal processes align with the requirements of a premium aerospace and defense supplier. The Angelus QMS system includes AS9102/ISO9001, FAA PMA, ITAR (DDTC certification), AS5553 and IPC-620 certifications. It also includes the quality manual, all procedures, work instructions and forms. The QE will be responsible for facilitating the preparation for all external audits of the QMS.
