This is an opportunity to work in an exciting fast paced Cardiac Specialized Procedure Unit and related areas of the Heart Center.

The Summer Intern will be responsible for:

• Assisting with patient encounters and process improvement tasks and duties across the unit operations.
• Being able to perform a variety of administrative tasks
• Being flexible and efficient
• Being proactive while maintaining flexibility and efficiency
• Monitoring Environment of Care, daily schedule and exam room utilization.
• Communicating with other staff members and clinical providers

In order to qualify, you must:

• Be enrolled in a healthcare related undergraduate program
• Must have exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
• Must have demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong competencies in organization, attention to detail and follow through.
• Must be able to respond positively in stressful situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills a must.
• Experience in database management a plus.
