Job Description
The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is Washington's premier special events and conference facility, located on historic Pennsylvania Avenue in the heart of Penn Quarter in Washington DC.
At Trade Center Management Associates we are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to add to our Events Marketing Department.

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree (required) in Marketing, Communications or other Business-related major
  • A minimum of 1 year work experience or equivalent internship experience in a marketing capacity 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong writing, copy-editing and proof-reading skills preferred
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint 
  • Working knowledge of social media, email marketing and WordPress platforms 
  • Experience with photography and/or graphics design is a PLUS 

Job Responsibilities: 
  • General responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, research, reporting, copy-writing, creative and conceptual development, scheduling, correspondence, budgets and organizational/administrative tasks as needed.
  • Assist Marketing team manage and develop content for various marketing channels: print, web, direct marketing, social media, blogs and more.
  • Manager orders and inventory of branded promotional products, collateral and visuals.
  • Support special marketing programs (i.e. Meal Voucher Program, Farmer's Market, Concert Series, etc.)
  • Help maintain reports and records for marketing activities.
  • Assist with organizing and cataloging digital assets.
  • Assist with photography and videography of events, performances and  exhibits to address daily functions.
  • Assist in communicating and coordinating with departments internally to address marketing requests and external vendors (Photographers, viodeographers, printers, signage companies, etc).
  • Assist Marketing team in managing signage and visual display projects.
  • Assist with all other tasks as designated.
