The Educational Specialist II - Assessment and Data Literacy will provide coaching to Priority Schools to improve data literacy and increase the use of assessment data to drive differentiated instruction. The coaching support will include frequent interactions with principals, ILEDs, and teachers to deliver professional development grounded in evidence-based strategies to improve the interpretation of assessment data and inform instructional practice.
Additionally, this role will serve as the lead/project manager for the coordination of assessment strategy for the district that will be informed by the interactions with the priority schools. In this role, he/she will be responsible for advising key leaders within Academics on the development of effective assessment strategy and the use of data to inform instructional practice.
