Job Description
The primary duty of this position is grant administration. The contractor will be required to monitor all existing Federal Awards and other assigned grants to ensure compliance with all the administrative and financial terms and conditions of the grant agreement.
  • The contractor is required to:
  • Develop managerial and oversight reports and spreadsheets to support the project teams, both at HQ and in the field.
  • Evaluate and process all Federal Assistance invoices (SF270) and review for accuracy. All processed invoices payments must be recorded in an excel spreadsheet and saved in the office’s designated electronic shared filing location.
  • Liaise with Awardees (Grantees) regarding the current scope, schedule and budget to ensure accuracy to the awarded project.
  • Reporting Requirements:
    • Review and process quarterly reports, audit reports, and annual budget review reports submitted by Grantees. The contractor is required to forward reminder emails to the grantee within designated time frames of the due dates for reports.
    • Written documentation on all findings must be completed and provided to the Grants Officer Representative or other designated representatives.
    • All reports are to be reviewed for accuracy and adherence to Grant agreement and project parameters.
  • Monitor all grant monitoring plans and matrix tables to ensure the government and the grantee are adhering to grant terms and conditions, especially those pertaining to timely submissions of documents.
  • Attend meetings concerning the administration of all Federal Awards (Grants).
  • Maintain communications with Grantees through emails, phone conversations and site visits.
  • Providing technical support and advice.

Required Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of applicable OMB Circulars pertaining to Grant Management and Administrative Requirements (Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (2 CRF Part 200).
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Knowledge of Government Standard forms (SF) including SF 425, SF 270, SF 428
  • Spreadsheets, Microsoft EXCEL
  • Word processing, Microsoft WORD
  • Post award grant experience with scope, schedule and budget and grant closeout
  • Great organizational skills
  • Good communications skills
  • Various project and construction management software
Education:
  • BS (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Project Management Professional Certification from an accredited College or University (preferred) OR documented evidence (copies of course certificates) to support completion of course.
  • Grant Administration certification from an accredited College or University (preferred) OR documented evidence (copies of course certificates) to support completion of course
  • Experience with construction projects preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
  • Experience in contract management and administration
