CAD Designer-Revit

Job Description
Under the direction of the Sr CAD Manager, the CAD Drafter sets up BIM/CAD drawings using given files for clients in the QSR, EDU and retail markets
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting architectural files or field dimensions
- Resolve discrepancies between original drawings received and approved plans
- Develops 3D BIM files
- Updates building shell with continued updated architectural plans during the course of a project
- Completes the Final plan set responsibilities
- Develops core drill plans for steel location
Education:
Requires a minimum of an Associate’s degree in CAD and has some work experience using CAD and Revit; or a combination of education and experience. An emphasis in Architecture is preferred. Knows and practices AutoCAD and Revit programs.

- Communication with Design, Project Managers and our Sales Department
- Ability to successfully complete basic project-specific work with Cad team supervision
- Ability to maintain individual management of projects with Cad team supervision
- Accepts direction and able to execute on those requests
- Excellent listening and verbal/written communication skills
- Proficient in AutoCad and Revit
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office products
