Job Description

The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is Washington's premier special events and conference facility, located on historic Pennsylvania Avenue in the heart of Penn Quarter.  Currently Trade Center Management Associates is seeking a Receptionist to complete our team.  The Receptionist will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for greeting our clients when they walk into our office with a warm, friendly greeting.
 
Job Requirements:
General reception duties including answering phones, greeting guests, ensuring reception and office areas are tidy and well organized, etc.  This individual will necessitate a high standard of personal demeanor including professional standards acceptable to the company.  The ability to answer telephone inquiries in an efficient, friendly and professional manner is imperative.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks

  • Order office supplies

  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing

  • Meeting arrangements as directed or as required

  • Organize travel arrangements as required

  • Any other special projects or duties as required or assigned
     

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum two to three years clerical or administrative experience

  • Excellent customer service

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • High School diploma or equivalent
