Logistics Specialist II

Locations: Camp Lejeune NC area, Camp Pendleton CA area, National Capital Region (Quantico), Okinawa Japan area, Iwakuni Japan area

Education and experience: High School diploma and 2 years related experience

General Requirements: Individual will perform limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Effort involves individual case problems or supply actions.

DPAS certification is required.

Specific Requirements:

a. Individual must have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.

b. Must have an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced, and have the analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts

c. Take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

d. Individual will responsible for receipt, issue, rebuild, reconstitution, recovery, and disposal support of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRN-D) equipment

e. Individual will be responsible and accountable for CBRN-D equipment.

f. Individual shall apply special attention to the designated shelf life parameters for CBRN-D equipment and other critical items.
