Job Description

Trade Center Management Associates is a private sector building management and hospitality service provider at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.  The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is recognized as a premier location in Washington DC, to stage events requiring the highest level of excellence in terms of service, food quality and presentation, and logistical planning. 

Currently Trade Center Management Associates is seeking a dynamic Kitchen Coordinator who would report directly to the Executive Chef and assist the culinary team, this position will ensure the accurate flow of information to and from the Kitchen Management Team. This position will assist with the preparation and maintenance of various reports and documents.

Major Functions:
*Perform administrative duties to support departmental management including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, coordinating interviews and tasting's.
*Compose, prepare and distribute professional letters, memos, e-mails and menus.
*Respond to inquires and provide information to departmental visitors and callers.
*Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes, email and BEO's.
*Produce department specific reports as needed.
*Perform general office duties such as ordering office supplies and maintaining filing systems.
*Serve as administrative liaison with other operational departments and vendors.
*Prepare agendas and presentations for meetings as required.
*Perform time and attendance duties for the department as required.
*Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
*High school diploma / Bachelors degree is required.
*2 years of Administrative experience required.
*2 years in hospitality industry required.
*Excellent oral & written communication skills required - ability to speak and understand French highly preferred.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required.
*Skilled in multitasking and attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using judgment to achieve the objectives of the position.
