Assists Chef with food production and supply management for Restaurant
Actively participates in food production operations according to the quality and cleanliness standards
When required, is responsible for inventory and quality control of kitchen/concession items.
Essential Functions:
Provides helpful and professional interaction with wait staff and management.
Complies with the Company's environmental initiatives.
Inspects and verifies the quality and quantity of products received from vendors
Complies with proper food handling procedures and maintains a Florida approved food handling certificate.
Education & Experience:
Must possess a minimum of 2 years of culinary experience, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
Knowledge of food preparation and controls.
Must be able to work varied shifts.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to maintain a Florida approved food handling certification.
Physical Requirements:
Standing and walking 100% of the time.
Requires some bending, stooping, the ability to periodically lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, climbing steps, seeing and hearing
Must be able to speak and understand English fluently
Environmental Working Conditions:
Occasionally loud
