SUMMARY
The position description of the Warehouse Clerk includes assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including inventory tracking, shipping and receiving, and returns processing within the Warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Warehouse Clerk supports the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies destined for sale to the customer base. Duties include but are not limited to:
Inventory movement to and from warehouse racks for fulfillment and/or storage.
Assist in counting of physical inventory as well as tracking amount of all inventory received or moved.
Process return inventory, identifying damage, and placing re-sellable inventory in warehouse location(s).
Check-in inventory, affix applicable labels and place in quick-pull bins.
Sort inventory according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all times, following prescribed safety regulations.
Assist with the fulfillment and packing of customer orders, processing and sorting all incoming and outgoing mail, as well as shipping and receiving duties including truck loading and unloading.
Sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
Attendance and punctuality are critical.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Strong organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to conduct business in English are also required. Some customer service experience is desirable along with competency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, USPS, and other mail carriers' software, policies, and procedures is desirable.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to sixty (60) pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Requires periodic overtime and standing, climbing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, as well as working in hot or cold temperatures with exposure to noise, dust, odors, etc.
